Re: Theos-World Re: Katinka: "HPB put most of the third volume to the flames before her death."

Hi all of you,

This is just some reflections on Daniel Caldwells conclusions and work on
the so-called Secret Doctrine volume III:

I will suggest, that the interested reader of the socalled volume III of the
Secret Doctrine follows Blavatskys view, when she in her almost contemporary
book The Key to Theosophy answers the Enquirer:

"ENQUIRER. Which system do you prefer or follow, in that case, besides
Buddhistic ethics?

THEOSOPHIST. None, and all. We hold to no religion, as to no philosophy in
particular: we cull the good we find in each. But here, again, it must be
stated that, like all other ancient systems, Theosophy is divided into
Exoteric and Esoteric Sections. "

So read Volume III - while you cull the good you find in it - and reject
what is no good.
Or maybe better read something else - which you might benefit more from
reading.
Or make a comparative study of the mentioned volume and other books -
theosophical or not - dealing with the mentioned adepts, mysteries and
magical aspects etc...

Let us us call it a view.
