re Dallas and "exoteric/esoteric"

Dallas, you finished off your last post with: <<When invisible thought is made visible by words or sounds to another, then it becomes exoteric -- no longer"self-contained," but exposed to review and criticism or help in improving it.Can you help? Best wishes, Dallas>>

Dallas, in case my earlier posts about "exoteric/esoteric" didn't do much for you (and, one way of another, many, if not all, of my posts seem to me be revolving around an "exoteric/esoteric" theme, in some sense or another, seems to me), how about Gerald's last post of Oct 15/03 on Theosophy Study List? Did that post "help," one might wonder about people in general (ie, needless to say, "help" as per whatever interpretive configuration) ...

I tend to be in agreement with the HPB quotes and Gerald's comments in that post from Gerald (today on TSL) that I just finished reading before reading yours, Dallas, on bn-study and Theos Talk. But I'll probably be re-reading your post, Dallas, trying to figure out some way of "answering it helpfully," (ie, seeing as my karmic tendency seems to often enough tend to direct me, as I see it, toward whatever kind of "help-making" that, to me, at least, seems "applicable enough," for whatever reason, "for better or worse"). I wonder if I should add: sorry about all those quotes and qualifiers, among other things, but/"but" ... And sorry about being confusing. One might wonder (as in my case) if Gerald's post of today (on Theosophy Study List) was also confusing (to whoever), among other things ... Not that various kinds of "confusions" (and maybe even confusions without too many quotes or qualifiers?) are not often the name of the game on this plane and on these lists.

Best wishes,
Mauri
