My views are:

Try the following remark by one of the initiates when he talked with one of
the "cave-buddhists" with the word isolation plastered all over him:

"What you only think can be sought only in your cave of isolation - I find
in the valleys of nature, the forrests, on the main roads and the entire
world !"
