Thanks for the message.
I have just bought this book and found it interesting.
I also read this comment that you put about the " dirty " somewhere I can´t remember.
Was it because he used too much brilliantine? ( laughs)
My intro to theosophy was thru CWL as many did too.
Hartmann´s book, bought now, is very simple to understand and, at lest bywhat this particuler books seems, much of it has theosophy as a basis.
Just a silly comment: 
Blavatsky´s "suspicionmeter" was not that accurate, or she would never socredulously put so much faith on Annie Besant...;-)

Yet still a very good book. It was, oddly enough, my first introduction to 
Theosophy. Obviously he has very heavy karma.
