Unfortunatelky I cannot check my memory because the matter was of
zero interest to me at the time and I discarded all the documents I
received. My recollection is, the leaders defended themslves on the
ground that ACT was a bunch of fired TSA employees. That seemed
entirely credible to me at the time.

Can't say because I do not follow it. The library is one of a very
small number of institutions of its type and scope (the ARE has a
comparable library) and it seems to me this is where they really
stand out. Theosophy is so complicated that years of study are
required to understand it, and that guarantees it will never have
many devotees or exert much influence. It would be possible to make
it more palatable, but thus far all that has appeared is charlatans
like Leadbeater and unreadable books like Barborka's DIVINE PLAN. B
said in his book that Blavatsky never did give out the seven keys to
interpretation, when the whole of the SD is an explanation of the
seven keys, and he saw the whole thing as a set of disconnected ideas
whereas it is intended to be a system. That suggests that even
people of great ability are unable to tackle this. If Barborka does
not understand the SD, there is little likelihood that the masses
will ever understand it.
