Re: Does Brahman or Atman have any karma?

Dear Friends:

We are told in philosophy that there are also Parabrahm and Paramatma. -
those incommensurates that elude our calculations and our finite
definitions.

If we are speaking of the vibration between rest and activity, or sleep
and wakefulness, then we all could agree that there is something that is
able to remain unchanged through those states. If we find out what that
is, then we ought to be masters of any stat ?

Cycles include a great number of beings taken as a whole, as for
instance our bodily sleep but the flow of life continues and breathing
and heart motion and some nervous control continue to work, even is we
are unaware.

The great cycles are like the smaller ones, and vice versa. They are
affected by our thoughts and emotions, as well as our deliberate
actions. So when we return to consciousness they resume their normal
duties. We participate in all the great cycles, and they affect us in
turn. It is a working cooperative.

In view of the impossibility of our personally being able to observe
such matters as immortality, eternity, immeasurability, space duration,
ultimate cause, etc... we can only say they have to exist as prototypes
to the limited phenomena we are so well aware of.

The proptotpe of KARMA is the remainder of "unfinished business" from a
previous "maha-manvantara,: and so on back to some indefinable
"beginning."

"Ending and beginning are dreams."

Best wishes,

Dallas

Well, for one I don't think this issue is so much a human issue, hence
not
much we can do about it. We don't control the Cycles (thank God).
Whatever
that is, presumably there is a state which looks like our sleep,
(pralaya)
where there is action *behind the scenes*, meaning karma is in action,
also
dreams are being activated by our sanskaric make up (our binding
impressions), which are subjed to the law of karma. But when God
Himself, or
Brahman, as I see it in the writings, *goes to sleep*, (presumably -
mahapralaya), then there is no movement, it is like sound sleep state
without dreams, so in this case karma is not working. So I understand,
at
least.
