Well, I guess you and Mauri see eye to eye. 

But, different strokes for different folks. 

So, not being a nihilist or wishing to rot on the vine (and for the benefit 
of those who might not have gotten your joke :-) -- I'd recommend sticking with 
those six aphorisms of that Great Master Philosophia, which go something like 
this:

Think,
meditate,
concentrate,
visualize,
DO WHATEVER IS NECESSARY
and everything we need to know will come to us

As for the purpose of the universe and ourselves... No matter what we do, 
we'll sure find out when we get on to it. (That is, if we keep out eyes and ears 
open.)
