Dear Dallas,

I think you have interpreted the "3 dangers" correctly and offered correct
advice on how to avoid them.

However, to put it in a nutshell, it should be understood that the "Wise Man"
was speaking to the disciple starting on the path... Who must understand that
before one can attain the higher wisdom and attain a true realization of the
self, one must not allow oneself to be identified with the physical
body/brain-mind which one fears will get old and die. And also, not to rely on any of
one's thoughts as being of any clear value in determining the true nature of
reality.

How one sees that reality, attains that wisdom, and reaches self realization,
is another matter altogether -- which requires self devised and self
determined effort to learn and comprehend the theosophical truths and practice the
proper yoga's.

Your help along these lines, by pointing the way to the Jnana and Rajah
yoga's as shown by HPB and WQJ in the Secret Doctrine and other of their writings,
should be much appreciated by all those wishing to travel the straight and
narrow path to enlightenment, and ultimate freedom of the self -- if not a
complete "Mastery of the Mysteries" and the higher powers of the Adept.

Thank you, and best wishes,

Lenny (aka Leon)
