Paul, 
I just made an off-list inquiry to a friend who is in the Adyar ES. 
He reports that you are correct -- long term monogamous heterosexual 
relationships are now OK for ES membership purposes, but the 
prohibition against same-sex relationships stands. Apparently, there 
has been significant controversy about this point, but Radha has not 
seen fit to change the rules.
