The problem with Leadbeater (aside from his character which really has no bearing on what he writes) is that his method of research had certain flaws because he was describing his vision mixed up with his Victorianisms. Clairvoyance is not a perfect instrument by any means and things do get garbled in the translation.

There is actually some useful stuff in his writing but you have to really dig through the garbage to get it.
That is closer to my point of view. Even my reading of Blavatsky is occasionally punctuated with looking at the levels of knowledge of certain other areas, in order for interpretation. There is quite a bit of terminology which is so common today that we forget that there was no equivalent terminology in Blavatsky's time.
