The recent discussion about "phenomena" 
brought to mind speculation to the 
effect that people, in general, might 
generally have some sort of somewhat 
over-riding tendency to make things 
"fit" one way or another, per whatever 
interpretive tendency, so as to make 
their worldview cozier and "more 
believable" in whatever interpretive or 
"karmic" sense. Not that there's 
anything necessarily "wrong" with that, 
but ... ^:-/ ...
