Re: Theos-World The Trial

Hello Steve,

Obviously you have done a lot of reading and come to a lot of
conclusions. Since this country is now predominately conservative, I
would feel safe in guessing that the majority of Americans would say
that you have come to the wrong conclusions. On the other hand, most
Americans don't read much, are amazingly uninformed about current
events, history (our own and other countries), and about other cultures.
I have even read studies showing that a significant number of Americans
are unable to even find Iraq and Iran on a map. Most people get their
news from television. However, most so-called news casters, such as
Geraldo Riviera and Rush Limbaugh are really entertainers, or at best,
political commentators who are more effective in manipulating people
than informing them. Newspapers provide more in-depth information, but
even they are written in such a way to not offend their subscribers.
So, what I'm looking for is the source documents such as the two I
provided in my original email.

As I said, I believe that Theosophists have an obligation to seek after
truth, no matter how unpleasant those truths may be. What the American
military and the CIA does around the world is a matter of international
karma, and it would be in everyone's interest to genuinely seek out what
we can learn. According to HPB, even nations accumulate karma which
ultimately affects the lives of its citizens.

According to the afore mentioned Pelletiere document, which the US
government did not want to be made public, the Kurds were "collateral
damage" in a battle between Iranian and Iraqi forces. In other words,
regardless of who dropped the gas bombs, the Kurds were not the targets.
If Pelletiere's statement is correct, then Bush and Blair are either
speaking from mis-information, or they are revising facts in order to
justify their agenda.

Do you know where we can find documentation of US experimentation,
development and use of chemical and biological weapons?
