Daniel,
It appears from documents you showed that when Dr. Annie Besant was on tour for Theosophical work Judge declared himself as sole head of ES. As Besant was also head of ES and she found Judge did wrong, ES split into two one headed by Besant other by Judge.

Anand:

You write:

"But Judge left [E.S. ?] organization after some time
and Besant was Outer Head of Esoteric School
for many decades later."

I believe your statement above about Judge
leaving the Esoteric School does not
accurately reflect the historical record.

Your statement could (with the same
degree of "accuracy" as you show) be
rephrased:

"Besant left organization after some time."

The actual situation is more clearly
shown in the following two original
source documents.

See Judge's 1894 circular:

and

also Mrs. Besant't reply to the circular:

http://blavatskyarchives.com/besantes1894.htm

Notice Mrs. Besant's words:

"Mr. Judge thinks it right to rend the School in twain...."

And H.S. Olcott, the Founder-President of TS supported her and not
Judge.

mistakes. It is wrong to constantly focus on their faults and making
