RE: CruSades

Dear A and Friends:

Thanks for amplification. Understood.

However a retrospective glance at the time I mentioned, shows, I think, the
same kind of indifference to the individuals -- then - as it continues to
do now.

As a youngster in a series of schools in various countries, I had the
valuable opportunity lf studying (?) "history" from a number of national
(?) view-points -- I was as amazed then, as now, at the way in which vast
events (and their presumed 'causes') have been condensed into the small
paragraphs that gloss over (read 'obliterate') the enormous horrors endured
by individuals.

Even today, one might profitably compare (for differences) the narrations
concerning past events as given in ENCYCLOPEDIA BRITANNICA vs. ENCYCLOPEDIE
LAROUSSE. I am sure that historians are as bedeviled by "editorializing"
and "apologies" today as ever before.

What I find comforting (?) is the concept that the Real Human Being is a
non-material, immortal Spirit/Soul -- that has no politics, country or
religion to narrow and distort its clear survey of actual events -- [And,
invisibly, intangibly, this Reality is our inner Self] even if we with our
semi-material brain-mind are so severely limited in securing an accurate
view (from such "authorities") of the TRUE EVENTS, horrors, torture,
abasement, discoveries, persons, and, especially of what has been so
carefully (diligently ?) concealed and kept secret from the plurality of
mankind.

[Both ISIS UNVEILED and the SECRET DOCTRINE do a god job of providing us
with reliable exposes.]

If, as claimed (and so far, at least in my case, satisfactorily
demonstrated, THEOSOPHY does give an honest and true version of present
actuality, and past events (taken from the impartial records of the Great
Teachers of mankind) it ought to be more widely and seriously considered.

The one vital clue if individual immortality and of reincarnation and karma
-- as a universal, very personal, and accurate law of COMPENSATION -- ought
to bring about a reform in moral, national, individual, and political
determinations - as causes for decisions that will affect millions.

Who has the audacity to do this?

Best wishes,

Dallas

Dallas,

this was not directed at past history as much as at current
history.

Notice my "Et tu, Mr. Bush" at the bottom.

===========================

DTB	I did. But I don't think a chat list devoted to philosophical
THEOSOPHY and the discovery of the moral causes of good and iniquity needs
current illustrations -- as those are individual opinions and in most cases
unverifiable by those who are not up-to-date on the secret ins and outs of
politics and so called national objectives today. We all notice how from
moment to moment the "political breezes" sway (or attempt to sway) the minds
and emotions of readers or listeners. It is a series of sad commentaries of
the underlying and real "terror" of the moment, insidiously directed at all
citizen everywhere.
=================================

WE Americans could not distinguish the largest Christian citizenry out of
the
western world when WE bombed Nagasaki, and WE don't know who is the
enemy in Iraq, or Afghanistan, either.

The young man, Ali, who was blown to pieces and still lived was apparently
NOT a bellergerent while he was sleeping in his bedroom during our "Shock
and Awe" campaign. WARS DON'T MAKE MUCH, IF ANY, DISTINCTIONS! ---- .....

Why not a little retrospective on what all CruSades actually are: terror,
war, mayhem, atrocity, etc., etc., ad nauseum.
