Pedro,

Concerning the 1900 KH letter, you write:

". . . it contains perhaps an important piece of
advice on the subject of your post:

"How few are they who can know anything about us.
... The cant about `Masters' must be silently
but firmly put down. Let the devotion and service
be to that Supreme Spirit alone of which each
one is a part. Namelessly and silently we work
and the continual references to ourselves and
the repetition of our names raises up a
confused aura that hinders our work…"

So I ask you Pedro and other interested readers,
since this letter was written to Mrs. Besant,
did she and her colleague Mr. Leadbeater
in the years after 1900 follow this
advice of the Master?

Or did they ignore the advice and
in fact help to raise up "a confused
aura" that hindered the Masters' work?

For example, did Mr. Leadbeater's book THE
MASTERS AND THE PATH go counter to the Master
KH's advice?

Or did Mrs. Besant's talk about the
the Lord Maitreya [
see http://groups.yahoo.com/group/theos-talk/message/18427 ]
run contary to the Master's advice in 1900?

Furthermore, did all the talk about the
the Lord Maitreya, Krishnaji as the vehicle
of the Lord, the 12 apostles, etc. also
run contary to the advice of KH:

"Let the devotion and service
be to that Supreme Spirit alone of which each
one is a part."
