Hey,

Just found this in Daniel's book-- don't know if it was in the earlier
version, but if so I didn't notice it, and it's especially fascinating
at the present moment. The source is anonymous, but s/he quotes HPB
as saying "America is the best and the worst, the kindest and most
abusive country in the world." This has the ring of truth to me, and
I'd appreciate theos-talkers' comments about it-- especially
non-Americans' comments. I'll share my own thoughts ONLY if anyone
outside the USA offers a reading of this characterization and whether
or not it is accurate today.
