Seems to me that "other factors" would first have to be defined. And inasmuchas "other factors" vary in keeping with whatever initial assumptions, then seems to me that all that one could hope for in terms of "truth" would be in keeping with whatever form of creative tunnel vision (or worldview) one has adopted, for whatever reason. Not that there's any shortage of corroboration out there when it comes to various forms of tunnel vision.
