The task of discerning truth...essential from non essential, fundamentals from "isms" etc. is part of the skill set necessary of any seeker of truth--absolute/relative, potential/actual.

Just sorting facts, from fiction fantasy is daunting, and somehow they all are part of truth, shades of meaning, metaphor, cultural coloring.

However, this must require that we are grounded in fundamentals, so we then can perhaps soar beyond this quartenary and tentatively, at least, explore the divine nature of things. 

The dialog is worth the effort ,especially if we are able to really try to see as the other does, then modify that with..."from my POV, it looks this way, etc."

The effort in this forum is to me, for the most part, working.
