Absolutely, but the dilemma is that "finding the way of the Masters" requires that we find the hidden secrets of nature, our own especially. The irony or paradox is that when we attain these higher faculties we have proven we are not just matter. In the meantime, lower manas, tries to make sense of it all by throwing its limited reason towards it.

In other words, far too many Theosophists are sitting around waiting 
for someone to show them the Way(tm) when those on whom they were 
counting said that we should find the way for ourselves.
