RE: Opinions among many -- Christianity (?) or not...

Dear Bart,

Personally, I could use my time better. I object to the prurient matter
being discussed as "THEOSOPHY" -- there is little (in my opinion) if any
relation between any individual's life and the ideal aspirations that
THEOSOPHY outlines.

Further, who cares, when we are all related to the TRUE within . Its only
the outer rind running out of control.

Ask yourself if in 10, 100, 1,000 or 1,000,000 years this will have any
significance to THEOSOPHY ?

I'd prefer to spend my Devachan (actually these exchanges sound more like
Kama-lokic discards) on other matters. Wouldn't you?

Well, each to their own, I guess it does not matter in the long run, but if
I were a newbee I would be put off.

As a newbee, I might be expecting something more serious and elevating.
Perhaps a little of philosophy and some panorama as to what THEOSOPHY covers
in doctrine and history ?

Bring on the fifes and the drums.

Best wishes,

Dallas

For the most part, I agree with you. The only disagreement is...

It makes sense if one wishes to place him as a moral authority. It
also
creates a context within which to read his books (although I find that
his Christian beliefs is a more important context than his moral acts).

Well, it's better discussing it in the open than whispering it in
the
background, in my opinion.
