re: Bonsai, a quick question

Did you notice that you did not answer the question about whether or
not I was right in my assumption:

I said:
> "You think that the average visitor is stupid enough to think
> that someone actually did what is displayed on those pages."

You pointed out:
> thousands of complaints about a "Bonsai Kitten"
> web site—subsequently determined to be a hoax...
and
> The site stimulate violence torward animals.

(I assume you meant to say that the site SIMULATES violence toward
animals, which I agree, it simulates it. If you actually mean that the
web site STIMULATES people to do violence, I vehemently disagree. I
believe that the person created the original site as a SATIRE,
evolving the idea of Bonsai sculptured trees into the animal world.)

Do you believe that the average visitor to that website believes that
the violence actually happened?

That's my point.

I believe the average visitor knows it to be a hoax, even if it does
"appear" to simulate violence.

If the average visitor knows it to be a hoax, should it be censored?

If so, then I should worry that you might want to censor one of my
pages. The maze on that page is in the shape of a silhouette of a
woman sitting next to a swimming pool. Some visitors to my site might
think that the woman is not wearing a swimsuit. I believe it should
not matter. (You can't tell one way or the other).

Some people might think that the maze in question is simulated porn.
Should it be censored simply because SOME PEOPLE think that it might
be porn?

I believe that the average visitor to my site is smart enough to
realize that the woman might have been wearing a swimsuit before I
obliterated everything to put the maze there.

You can see the maze in question at:
www.Mazes.com/gif.files/shape.mazes/lady-maze-hard.gif
(I need to change the text, as the contest ceased to exist five years ago)

(Actually, the original image was ALREADY a silhouette)
