Pedro, if all of the stuff is in the British
Library under Mead's name, even that is not
entirely satisfactory because one has to have
research credentials to gain access to the British
Library. How then do ordinary folks get hold of
this material?

The suppresssion then has at least kept the
material out of the hands of all those who do not
have access to the British Library, a pretty
successful suppression indeed.

And why do you know that Mead's letters which may
be stored in the BL are THE SAME letters which
Adyar in The Hague and Adyar HQ are hiding from
reasearch?

And finally let's don't lose the point, which is:
If you or Gregory Tillett cannot tell us EXACTLY
where all the material is, then the suppression
has plainly succeeded. AND if we would have to
climb mountains to actually obtain copies of the
material, then the suppression has plainly
succeeded.

This is the typical Adyar rhetoric:They act like
they know everything, but then not actually share
their knowledge with us. That's my point. NOT
share what they know.
Would you are Greogry Tillet send me or other list
members here copies? And if you do not have
copies, why not, if they are so easy to get.

Frank

Well, it is a bit difficult to regard the British
Library in London as
a "non-answer".

Also, please remember that Mead was the EDITOR of
"The Theosophical
Review" and he provided FULL space in the magazine
for the Leadbeater
critics, which included William Kingsland, Bertram
Keightley and A.R.
Orage, besides his own editorial comments. He also
provided space for
Annie Bessant's articles and replies. The "Review"
was widely read at
that time and therefore influential among TS
membership.

No, the Archives at Adyar were not affected by the
tsunami, and
equally no, I don't know where the original
letters are. But would the
British Library accept inauthentic copies of
documents as part of its
collection?

Pedro
