Well, just a minute data I know of. In the Mahayana Ch'an there is a 
Ceremony called "The Great Bed" in it the Tripitaka Master has the male and female 
ordainded members come to the Main Temple in the evening where they in seperate 
left and right division, male on one side, females on the other, recline and 
thet colectively go to sleep together, along with the Tripitaka Master. Once 
asleep they are I have read "instructed on the non-physical planes." I have 
never seen or experienced this but it a a type of correlate to the topic.

PS: I have never figured out why there is such a strong apparent bias against 
Borborka's "H.P.B. Tibet and Tulku" work witch has probably well over 100 
pages that discuss nothing but the means of remote communication by the Master, 
directly, using a chela, or by assumption of the body of another. I ask the 
scholars here about this quite a while back and there was silence. Recently 
Daniel posted a nice string of excerpts from several source but as usual none from 
Borborka's really meaningful work.
