Dear John:

I'm a bit at sea as to continuity -- sorry. As to the "large round stone"
being hurled at Earth I don't think it would happen outside of Karma. But
the nature of such an event might not be prognosticated by such teachings as
we have received. In fact if you reason about the nature of THEOSOPHY then
why would it possibly be obliterated in such a short time?

However, consider how really tenuous our present recording of scientific
investigation is -- All in impermanent paper and tapes of plastic. Without
the right equipment they are untranslatable.  

Eliminate electricity (by calamity or otherwise) and we are quickly back too
the "stone age."  

Eliminate oil and gasoline (for transportation, medicine, and perishable
goods) and large cities soon fail.

Physical survival in its barest terms shows us the tropical areas as most
forgiving climate-wise, and also productive of food and clothing and simple
shelter.

As we go away towards the Poles the problems increase.

So civilizations we may surmise rise and fall

I have often asked myself why records of old civilizations seem limited to
about 5 to 7,000 years. Why do we think ours is the best so far? In terms
of construction we still have to catch up to the Egyptians and the
"Cyclopeans," (around the Mediterranean basin).

America was circumnavigated by the Chinese long before Europe ventured there
to ravage and plunder.  

We need to study "pre-history" closer. Try ISIS UNVEILED.  

In Asia antique hydro-irrigation controls have been in place near the
head-waters of most great rivers for untold ages. [I have seen them.] 

Much we can learn from the "old ones," but what will our great-grand
children receive from us? 

Much to consider. Especially WHAT IS ESSENTIAL ?

PS: BTW, in the Gnostic drama after Adam is risen and lives the Archons are 
deeply intimidated by him and according to the drama they have an
unremitting 
desire to kill Adam to the extent that they threw a "a large round stone"
upon 
the Earth in attempt to kill him. Possibly there is a reality of some past 
here that lies in the subconscious of mankind associated to some Celestial
event 
impressed traumatically upon the survivors and descendents. Tiahuanaco is
one 
remaining resource in this area due to the contents of it's glyphs which 
Bellamy and Allen deciphered detailing Catastrophe.
