I think the time is drawing close for "THE NEW AGE THEOSOPHY" Leadbeater can be explained away as a chela who failed through spiritual arrogance. Besant as a blend of theosophy and christianity. Judge as a misguided zealot who lied about The Letters through a profound belief as the end justifying the means. Mere mortals who are subject to human flaws, who took on more than they could handle. No masters, no channelling, no clairvoyance, just
a commitment to study the teachings as presented by HPB.

Bart,
Don't give up,TRY. Any communication is better than no communication.
Communication is a senior activity. I think you did an optimal activity when you
sent to all on the Official's List. If a pattern of non-communication is
present you keep nudging them until they cognite that a communication has been made
and left unanswered by them. It is predictable that when people are stuck in a
patterned habit, sometimes enforced upon them it is like telling them "look
at your watch and then tell me what time it is," eventually they actually see
their watch but give the wrong time back, so you keep asking what time it is,
and depending on how solidly they are stuck in the events that preclude an
actual true response, they move slowly and the time changes but is moving at that
point, so repeat the action that produces "change" until they can be in
"present time" and tell you the correct response with the exact time. Individuals,
Groups, Organizations all function only through communication in some form and
degree of effectivity, the worst condition is "blocks all communication." You
know what your E-mail said to all that it was mailed too. Were there
differentiated responces? What were the different responces. Based on their replys
where would you assess their willingness to communicate at? which were higher in
tone and response and which were negative or covert? It might be instructive
to perform a survey analysis and compile a data base of "willlingness to
communicate" that reflects the individual gradient of each. you might analysis the
content which was sent to them critically in terms of content targeted to
motivate in such form that it will calibrate their organizational tonal level and
have it serve as an indice of what "they reach for" and "what they push away."
One of the complaints I see made about Adyar is they seem to preferr to
publish what they have determined to be, in terms of content "what people Reach
for" and this is a gauge and measurement of the tonal level that is a dynamic
collectively of populations relavive to the seven-fold economy of Being. Members
of this Forum have posted numerical sales of Theosophical Publications that
indice the "Reach" area of general populations that is operative in the present
time and is a valid measurement of the minds that makes the purchase. You
might in your next E-mail ask these lodge officials are the present time goals
that are of most senior importance to them for the next 6 mo., 12 mo., 24. mo,
36. mo., and then compile the results giving a indice to indicate what they
consider is content they wwould want to respond too. Work on these primary targets
to get movement in communication process. A Questionaire sent with questions
like "What is the most action important in your view that you consider would
attract people to Theosophy?" And " What would you change to make Theosophy
appeal to more people?" Not more than 10 Questions, maybe only 5 Questions. See
what they do in response. then recalibrate and continue the action of
communication.
