Online lodge

Hi all,
It's always difficult finding experienced facilitators to run
theosophical groups.

However with the internet if someone wants to start a theosophical
study group in their area but has limited knowledge an online lodge /
discussion group could be utilized, where more 'experienced' students
could help give support to these otherwise isolated and independent
groups to offer encouragement and help with their studies.

The other issue is having facilities to run reading groups from
perhaps networking online could help people find cheap facilities in
their area.
(Schools, community centers ect.)

I think the internet offers opportunities and access to experienced
students we otherwise would have little chance of communicating with.
Perhaps a yahoo group specifically for beginners in theosophical
studies supported by more experienced students could be set up.

I know Blavatsky net has an online course this could be utilized in a
study group as well perhaps.

Just some thoughts................

Perry
