Hello Cass

Blavatsky said that antahkarana is a function of lower self, when he has a spiritual aspiration. However, in The Voice of Silence said that material self and spiritual self cannot be together, one of both must die.

Krishnamurti always states that we must leave the personal in order to "That" can come. Only people that have a partial understanding of his teachingsassume a positivist point of view. Buddha denied the existence of Atma, but what he wants say is that self we know is not Atma. Krishnamurti said thesame. He isn’t teaching to by-pass Higher Mind, he is saying “In orderto function from unconditioned Mind your brain consciousness must end”.

“(see The SD Vol. V, Adyar Edition, "The seven scales of consciousness" -I think this is the
title in English-)
Can I read this through the web? It sounds very interesting”.

In The Collected Writings of HPB, Vol XII, you can find it. But probably tomake the connection will require further explanations…

Best regards

Pablo
