Adyar TS is the Masters' Society??????????????

It is interesting how Anand
is insisting that the Adyar TS
is the Master's Society.

Of course, he doesn't explain how
he knows that or what his reasons
are for holding such a belief.

Yet even as early as 1888, we
find Master Koot Hoomi stating something
quite different:

"...the Society has liberated itself from our
grasp and influence and we have let it go -
we make no unwilling slaves....[The
Theosophical Society] is no longer ... a body over
the face of which broods the Spirit from
beyond the Great Range...."

Letters from the Masters of Wisdom,
Series I, Letter 47.

Does Anand believe what the Master
stated in 1888?

I'm sure Anand will probably not
share with us his thoughts on this
question but the rest of us might
ponder on the implications of
the Master's statement.

I think that Perry has brought up some
good points in his recent posting but one
should also keep in mind that there are
now a number of different Theosophical
societies, organizations and associations.

Of course, Anand has the right to believe
whatever he chooses but if he is trying to
persuade others that his belief [that Adyar
TS is the Masters' Society] is based
on facts and reality, then he should be
giving more than mere assertion.

Daniel
