Dear N

Ganesa (Sk.) The elephant-headed God of Wisdom, the son of Siva.

He is the same as the Egyptian Thoth-Hermes, and Anubis or Hermanubis
(q.v.). The legend shows him as having lost his human head, which was
replaced by that of an elephant." [ He was the son of Siva and became the
scribe (lipika) of the Gods, with the task of recording human, world and
universal events in the imperishable Akasa. His connection with the Astral
Light (6th plane of the astral light) is also through Karma and Cycles
whereby all "effects follow their "cause," in due time. DTB ]
Theos. Glos p. 125

Best wishes,

Dallas

Hey Cass-

I think Ganesha is an Indian diety, an elephantine
entity...that's all I can guess...can we call our
Lifeline?
