Hallo John and all,

My views are:

Apart from the below I do not find any disagreement in our views.

John wrote:
"I just disagree with your perception that it
is okay for you to judge that a particular writing is wrong for me."

Well...John I didn't do that.
Perhaps you perceived my email in such a manner.
But, let us be honest - I did NOT judge
what is right or wrong for you.

I just said, what I thought.

I said:
"But if the truth is, that - if - you are saying
HPB is right and "to be a child-molester is wrong".
"To be a child-molester is right" and HPB is wrong - I would say that I
certainly DO NOT find that amusing !!!"

Is that to be judging you?

John wrote:
"Please note that the purpose of my response is NOT to compare HPB and
CWL. Put any two names into this document, and my comparisons are still
valid."

I do not find that view valid or amusing at all.
Let me put it like this.
X is more clever than Y and this is a fact.
It will not work the other way around Y is more clever than X.
Because that is a lie.

What you in fact are saying is that our talk about who is right or wrong is amusing.
I think it is serious.

But i get you point, that it is sort of silly
to discuss whether X is right and Y is wrong - OR - whether Y is right and X is wrong.
But - in this manner some of us learns something.

Yet - you still answered my email - in our little deabte on who is right or wrong - did you not?

Every person on Earth has some evil in their background. I once
(unintentionally) tried to murder someone, back when I didn't know the
harm of throwing a rock at someone. (Yes, my parents paid that child's
medical bills). Each of us have something that we wish we hadn't done,
but I wouldn't go back into the past and change my past, because I
believe that every positive AND NEGATIVE experience in my past has
contributed to make me the better person that I am today.

My point is that, in spite of what CWL (probably but allegedly) did,
there may be some good in what he wrote, if you look for it.

Likewise, in spite of what HPB (probably but allegedly) did, there may
be some good in what she wrote, if you look for it.

And ... what you find good in one person's writing may not match what
someone else finds good in that same person's writings.

I am not going to say that a person is 100% wrong because of one or even
100 incidents. Likewise, I am not going to say that another person is
100% good because of incidents of a completely different nature.

I completely agree that it is right for you to decide that one person is
completely wrong for you. I just disagree with your perception that it
is okay for you to judge that a particular writing is wrong for me.

Please note that the purpose of my response is NOT to compare HPB and
CWL. Put any two names into this document, and my comparisons are still
valid.
