Many people do, and are prescribed medication that agitates their
condition. I have experience with this, and I know a lot of people who
have these conditions. All of them will tell you just the same.

With nervous conditions (not to be confused with "emotional problems")
you often find yourself having to help yourself. The reason why I pick
apart words like this is because "emotional problems" implies that
this is a mental condition, while physicians/scientists argue that it
is not, but is in fact a physical condition pertaining to brain
chemistry. You may call it symantics, but there is a huge difference.
Sometimes people find that something their environment, or something
they were eating was causing the symptomatic episodes. However, the
pre-existing condition will continue to exist even after a person is
technically "cured" of certain symptoms. Hence it never goes away.

I no longer have symptoms of Panic disorder, and this was not the
result of any sort of treatment. This is also the reason why I don't
call it a "problem" but rather a "condition". As a problem would imply
that something needs to be done in order to solve it.
