Anand versus Melton and Ellwood?????

Anand,

You wrote:

"Blavatsky became famous not because of her writing
but because Annie Besant made TS internationally
reputed organization and Blavatsky was technically
founder of it. So little fame which Blavatsky has
is to much extent due to work of Annie Besant."

Now compare what you wrote above with what the
following two well-known scholars and experts on religion
and minority religions have written:

"Madame Blavatsky...stands out as the fountainhead of modern occult
thought." J. Gordon Melton et al. New Age Almanac. 1991.

"H.P. Blavatsky...is...the most important theosophical writer and
teacher of the modern era." Robert Ellwood. Theosophy. 1986.

Some food for thought....
