Genius

The article Genius by Blavatsky was certainly an interesting work. It
basically describes the way the lower ego steps aside to let the
higher ego take control at times. This is often characterized by
unbelievable mental ability that certain people exhibit naturally
(like the human calculator, if you're a fan of "ripley's believe it or
not"). I read this piece a while back, and it made me realize that
there are times when people seem to be sharper, more focused, and can
be incredible at a skill that they really, honestly, and truly suck at
most of the time.

I've had a few instances of this happen yesterday--and my
God--sometimes people can really surprise themselves.
