One of the eyewitnesses to the discovery of Krishnamurti was Ernest Wood. He had written an account in his book "Is This Theosophy?". The fact of the matter is after Krishnamurti started lecturing, TS never had a leader of his standing. Also his talks over a period of 60 years have affected many around the world, including myself.

Even today, a visit to a bookseller will confirm that there are 10 books by Krishnamurti for 1 book on theosophy. Whatever may be the shortcomings of CWL, I am personally grateful for discovery of Krishnamurti.
