Dear David
Thank you for your response.
Like many, you seem to be assuming my comments in an absolutist
fashion eg: Black and white.
Could it be that there is another mode of thinking which considers
the colour grey?
In this case, Bishop Leadbeater's writings are for me of an
infinitely darker shade of grey than those of Madame Blavatsky.
In saying that, and at the risk of annoying others by repeating
myself yet again, this does not mean to me that HPB, or her Mahatmas
for that matter, were/are all knowing beings. It is merely saying
that for me, she and they have demonstrated an enormously profound
grasp of the occult science of our dimension of existence, which only
deep and continued study and practice, of the mind and heart, can
hope to begin to apprehend.
If this is "stacking the deck" to you, I plead guilty.
Very best wishes with your adherence to mysticism. I trust that it
will serve you, and that you will serve it, as Theosophy has served
me and hopefully I am serving it.
Regards
Nigel
