If any pro-Blavatsky leader had come then TS might have sunk by this 
time because very few people would have appreciated Theosophy as given 
by Blavatsky. Fact is Annie Besant and Leadbeater made TS 
internationally reputed organization and Blavatsky was founder of it. 
This gave Blavatsky some fame. 
If Besant and Leadbeater were not there, we would not have heard about 
TS and 95 percent members including you and mean would not have joined 
any organization calling itself Theosophical.
