Also, I'd like to add a quick little story to this.

When you're arguing philosophically about an unknown topic, take the
lightbulb scenario; Suppose you went back into the past to visit a
caveman, and you brought with you a flashlight. The caveman may make
two very obvious observations--one, that the light is very bright, and
two, the shadows surrounding the light bulb disappear. Just with these
observations one can make two conclusions:

1. That the lightbulb is emitting light, or
2. That the lightbulb sucking the dark out of the room.

Without more conclusive data or a more sound theory, all the arguments
in the world will not make a bit of difference.

HPB was quoted as saying that much ofwhat she was saying would be verified by science in this century. I am following the trail and in the meantime picking up valuable scientific and occult information. I also agree with Murray that any debate should be done out of mutual respect for both parties, however, this at times can be challenging, both for the scientific mind and for the theosophical mind, when they both come from fixed rigid ideas or thinking. Like I keep telling myself, it is not about who is right or wrong but about finding a common ground where the search for truth/meaning is apriori.
