There are serious doudts that Jesus was a historical person at all.
HPB seems to confirm his existence but as a not very successful
reformer, one of the many.

HPB always drew division between Christianity and Jesus.
In one expression she says "Christianity" about beliefs of the FIRST
christians, and mentions that it was a simple faith in Jesus as a
Messiah. There's nothing bad it it, but it cannot be called a high
philosophy. And later it was only worse and worse. So Christianity, in
all it earlier and later presentations, cannot be a culmination of
ancient wisdom. In "Isis" she shows in detail how early Christianity
was concocted.

My preferences have grown from that fact that some authors are
tolerant and inclusive while others not. Studying and even following
some authors doesn't prevent us to study all others, while studying
some others (if we really follow them) bans for us not only particular
authors but entire lineages like Bonpo.
