Dear Dallas,
I find this paragraphs particularly interesting.

RE: : NEW MATTER DISCOVERED

Dear Mark and Friends:

What about "dark matter," and "black holes?"

Cass: We are made of star stuff - is this the embodiment of consciousness on the physical plane?

hpb and being what we term the collective or the aggregate of Cosmic Will on the plane of the subjective Universe, unite together an infinitude of monads—each the mirror of its own Universe—and thus individualize for the time being an independent mind, omniscient and universal; and by the same process of magnetic aggregation they create for themselves objective, visible bodies, out of the interstellar atoms.

Cass: Science has discovered that all atomic components vibrate with specific frequencies. This vibratory nature has led to the Quantum mechanics weuse today, which states that the atomic components have a dual nature of particle and of wave vibration.

hpbFor atoms and Monads, (are) themselves the Radiations of primordial nature.
Atoms are called "Vibrations" in Occultism; also "Sound"—collectively.

Cass: Electrons group themselves in orbital layers and are in fact trapped inside those energy levels. Electrons spin around the nucleus at a certain distance from the nucleus and that distance forms a "potential pit" which the electrons cannot easily jump from (say from one potential pit to another). Each potential pit holds a certain number of electrons, S layer holds 2, the P layer holds 4, the d layer holds 8 and the f layer holds 16. Because they all move so fast science sometimes refers to them as electron clouds.

hpb: He (Tyndall) has traced and recorded the rapidity of their motion and transmission; the force of their impact; their setting up vibrations in thetympanum and their transmission of these to the stolithes, etc., etc.,tillthe vibration of the auditory nerve commences—and a new phenomenon now takes place: the subjective side of the process or the sensation of Sound.

Cass: Can anyone please explain 'TYMPANUM, STOLITHES???

hpb: The waves and undulations of Science are all produced by atoms propelling
their molecules into activity from within. Atoms fill the immensity of
Space, and by their continuous vibration are that MOTION which keeps the
wheels of Life perpetually going.

HPB: As described by Seers—those who can see the motion of the interstellar
shoals, and follow them in their evolution clairvoyantly—they are dazzling,
like specks of virgin snow in radiant sunlight. Their velocity is swifter
than thought, quicker than any mortal physical eye could follow, and, as
well as can be judged from the tremendous rapidity of their course, the
motion is circular. . . . . Standing on an open plain, on a mountain summit
especially, and gazing into the vast vault above and the spacial infinitudes
around, the whole atmosphere seems ablaze with them, the air soaked through
with these dazzling coruscations. At times, the intensity of their motion
produces flashes like the Northern lights during the Aurora Borealis. The
sight is so marvellous, that, as the Seer gazes into this inner world, and
feels the scintillating points shoot past him, he is filled with awe at the
thought of other, still greater mysteries, that lie beyond, and within, this
radiant ocean. . . . .

As the UNIVERSE is ONE, a condition of its causal and forceful embodiment in
forms of matter is occasional and cyclical.

M.Kaku, wrote this

In his memoirs, Einstein wrote that he was disturbed that his equations contained solutions that allowed for time travel. But he finally concluded: the universe does not rotate, it ex- pands (i.e. as in the Big Bang theory) and hence Goedel's solution could be thrown out for “physical reasons.” (Apparently, if the Big Bang was rotating, then time travel would be possible throughout the universe!)

Then in 1963, Roy Kerr, a New Zealand mathematician, found a solution of Einstein's equations for a rotating black hole, which had bizarre properties. The black hole would not collapse to a point (as previously thought) but into a spinning ring (of neutrons). The ring would be circulating so rapidlythat centrifugal force would keep the ring from collapsing under gravity. The ring, in turn, acts like the Looking Glass of Alice. Anyone walking through the ring would not die, but could pass through the ring into an alternate universe. Since then, hundreds of other “wormhole” solutions have been found to Einstein's equations. These wormholes connect not only two regions of space (hence the name) but also two regions of time as well. In principle, they can be used as time machines.

Recently, attempts to add the quantum theory to gravity (and hence create a“theory of everything”) have given us some insight into the paradox problem. In the quantum theory, we can have multiple states of any object. For example, an electron can exist simultaneously in different orbits (a factwhich is responsible for giving us the laws of chemistry). Similarly, Schrodinger's famous cat can exist simultaneously in two possible states: dead and alive. So by going back in time and altering the past, we merely createa parallel universe. So we are changing someone ELSE's past by saving, say, Abraham Lincoln from being assassinated at the Ford Theater, but our Lincoln is still dead. In this way, the river of time forks into two separate rivers. But does this mean that we will be able to jump into H.G. Wells' machine, spin a dial, and soar several hundred thousand years into England's future? No. There are a number of difficult hurdles to overcome.

First, the main problem is one of energy. In the same way that a car needs gasoline, a time machine needs to have fabulous amounts of energy. One either has to harness the power of a star, or to find something called “exotic” matter (which falls up, rather than down) or find a source of negativeenergy. (Physicists once thought that negative energy was impossible. But tiny amounts of negative energy have been experimentally verified for something called the Casimir effect, i.e. the energy created by two parallel plates). All of these are exceedingly difficult to obtain in large quantities,at least for several more centuries!

Then there is the problem of stability. The Kerr black hole, for example, may be unstable if one falls through it. Similarly, quantum effects may build up and destroy the wormhole before you enter it. Unfortunately, our mathematics is not powerful enough to answer the question of stability because you need a “theory of everything” which combines both quantum forces andgravity. At present, superstring theory is the leading candidate for such a theory (in fact, it is the ONLY candidate; it really has no rivals at all). But superstring theory, which happens to be my specialty, is still to difficult to solve completely. The theory is well-defined, but no one on earth is smart enough to solve

HPB: The Universe in its organism is infinitely sensitive and so delicately
balanced that the least component is considered and related to the
cooperative inter-action of every other.

Cass: I think also Jung refers to this as the collective unconscious, because we all have an unconscious existence, this individual unconsciousness is part of, and in fact makes up, the collective unconscious. It is this wetune in to when remote viewing, or ESP, clairvoyance, etc, the akashic. The source of all human knowledge.

Would be interested to hear something back from the scientifically minded. Does anyone know what has happened to Leon, I am very concerned about his absence?

Cass

They have a different theory for people who rejected the big bang,
like myself. This is my favorite so far. Scientists discovered a black
hole towards the originating point of the universe. They believe it is
constantly sucking in and spitting out matter that eventually forms
into galaxies when it becomes too dense. Blavatsky knew that
everything was cyclical, and seems to suggest the same theory. I don't
have my copy of SD nearby right now or else I'd quote from her.
