Can you verify this information? According to my info, the 43 second 
difference between Mercury's actual orbit and Newtonian calculations was 
found during Blavatsky's lifetime, and the few claimed sightings of 
Vulcan were self-contradictory. Finally, I'd like to point out that it 
turned out that it is quite possible that Blavatsky's own writings were 
instrumental in proving that Vulcan did not exist; certainly, the proofs 
can be considered a start to scientific research starting to confirm the 
various propositions of the Secret Doctrine.
