Dear Etzion:

Thanks. I like particularly what you say here:

"I think the real magic is by shunning any magic whatsoever. By focusing on
the Divine, we allow the spirit of Divine Love to work amidst humankind.
This I
would call the magic of non-magic."

Best wishes,

Dallas

I looked at this e-mail with some concern. While I agree with what you
describe below, there is a much more fundamental difference between the
white and the black magicians:

When people enter the spiritual Path, they are still under tremendous spell
of the forces of illusion - anger, lust greed, etc. Both the white and the
black magicians are subject to these forces, till a certain degree. The key
difference is, that the white magician has been what we term as a good
person, who has aspired to help his fellow beings. Such a person, when
enters the Path, is being helped by the spirtual hierarchy, they *put an
eye* on him, to prevent him from serious falls, hence a waste of precious
time.

A black magician, however, might be a selfish person, who aspires to gain
powers for self-fulfilment. Not necessarily a bad person, meaning evil
minded. Such a person can never really advance on the Path, he is not under
the guidance of the Masters, because he didn't ask for such a guidance; the
*white* person could be a devoted religious person, who dedicated many
life-spans for personal communion with *God* or what he feels like Higher
force, and does good, even goodness is not always what is the right thing to

do, according to the Design and the karma involved.

Both white and black migicians possess *siddhis* spiritual powers, which can

be cultivated while using knowledge of the Path. The kabalists, being fully
aware of these possibilities and the dangers involved, don't permit their
people to start the study of Kabala before the age of 40, and only for those

who are accepting the full doctrines of the religion - being a rightous and
God fearing person. I suspect this coul be one of the main reason for the
occult brotherhoods being upset at Blavatsky, for placing the occult
knowledge at public domain. But this was necessary, since we have to take
full responsibility as mature spiritual persons.

I think the real magic is by shunning any magic whatsoever. By focussing on
the Divine, we allow the spirit of Divine Love work amidst humankind. This I

would call the magic of non magic. Etzion

Dear Gerry:

As I understand it, both the "white" and the "black" magicians have the same
knowledge of how Nature works -- its laws.

The difference between the two is:

The White ADEPT employs his wisdom to assist Nature. He spends his time and
energy to be a generous and wise compassionator. As a group, they are said
to be growth of wisdom and constructive activities -- that is: concerned
with the Manvantaras and the benevolent, virtuous and cooperative side of
individual human life and Nature. They are said to maintain the several
"schools" for disciples and chelas we read about. The SECRET DOCTRINE is a
partial and condensed record of their wisdom and knowledge.

The "Black adept" uses his knowledge selfishly for his own purposes and for
confusion and destruction. His knowledge obstructs and impedes, not only
Nature's progress, but also, is deliberately used to obstruct the advance of
other disciples and students who may be seeking for the TRUTH. The Black
Adepts are said to preside over the processes that induce the Pralayas.

HPB tries in her days to explain the difference between the "Eye" and the
"Heart" Doctrines. The same difference, of course, continues for as long as
thee are aspirants to improve their "personal" natures and transmute them
into their INDIVIDUAL NATURES where reside the Buddhas and the Bodhisattvas
(the Buddha-lands).

[As an example, in the present, we have those who spend their time to devise
the viruses and worms that can attack our computers. The same rules and laws
of construction and computer "know-how" are employed in constructing a valid
assistance for a great number of persons like GOOGLE or MICRO-SOFT.]

That's as I understand it.

Best wishes,

Dallas
