Re: Theos-World Cancer producing agents - Plastic

News can be sometimes misleading. Teflon was found to be harmful in
laboratory tests, and no such [reliable] tests found that plastics can
cause cancer. Microwaves are also harmful, but less than cooking with
teflon or styrofoam containers.

It's all about finding a balance; I know that microwaves are harmful,
but I occasionally treat myself to a T.V. dinner. I'm not going to
stop using it just because people tell me it increases my risk of
getting cancer.

I personally believe that we use way too much plastic in the world and when plastic is overcooked, as in the case of microwaved, it sure doesn't look healthy to me. We have had tests done in Australia which are indicating that microwaves reach far and beyondthe case and there have been some reported cases where these microwaves infact can effect the pelvic regions, and that children should not be encouraged to wait for their food to heat standing next to the microwave, as these waves may enter the brain. I know it sounds far fetched, but here we aretold that overuse of mobile phones is starting to cause hearing problems etc. As we are energy beings it sounds rational to me that other energy waves may impact on our bodies. Just a personal view which I cannot support with solid science.
