Additionally, we have the resources to multitask--our involvement in
the middle east has almost no impact on our rescue efforts in New
Orleans.

It's like all the people who are starving in other countries. There's
plenty of resources and food in the world, but everyone's so horribly
inefficient and ass-backwards that people end up starving to death.
