Garbled and Distorted Versions of Theosophy???

Of late on several Theosophical forums, there
has been discussion about Pseudo-Theosophy.

If there is genuine Theosophy is there also
Pseudo-Theosophy?

Inquirers and students seem to have a variety
of opinions.

But how did H.P. Blavatsky and the Mahatmas view all
of this? Certainly if they knew anything, they knew
what genuine Theosophy was all about. So what were
their views on imitations of Theosophy, on garbled and
distorted versions of Theosophy, etc.? Can there be
such a thing as Pseudo-Theosophy?

See the following:

Some food for thought.
