The (Hidden) CWL's Funny Stories?

Feb 19, 2006 11:50 AM

Dear Chuck,

You say:

"But at least Leadbeater is good for a laugh."

I agree. But -- isn't there something tragic in the fact
that Adyar TS was trying to keep these funny stories
away from us?

I tell you, these are the best parts in CWL's books,
at least they are fun, there rest being is too boring.

The TPHs have cut out the best
from Leadbeater's books in recent editions.

Best regards, Carlos Cardoso Aveline

It is easy to laugh at Leadbeater and his Martians (how he managed to miss
Marvin is beyond me) but the fact is that no remote viewer, even the normally
sensible ones, has been particularly accurate at seeing things off-planet.

The same is true of dowsers. T. Galen Hieronymus, one the super-biggies in
radionics, said during the Apollo missions that there was some sort of
dangerous energy around the Moon. But no such energy was detected by any
conventional means and no astronaut who went to the moon suffered any ill effects from
it which leads to the conclusion that either the energy was too weak to
matter or it simply does not exist.

Clearly we are dealing with some sort of distance or environmental
limitation. But at least Leadbeater is good for a laugh.

Chuck the Heretic
