A notice  arrived in the mail dated February 18. It says, "Grace F. Knoche,
Leader of  The Theosophical Society for the last 35 years, died early this
morning,  following a brief illness."



I only met her once, when we had breakfast together at the 1993 World  
Parliament of Religions, but she impressed me as a very nice and interesting  
person.  I'm sure that she will be greatly missed.
