Dear Marie,

I'm as desirous as you to bring some kind of closure to this episode.  
For that to happen, I really don't feel that second guessing about 
Daniel's guilt or innocence or motivations, or imagining alternative 
explanations that might put Daniel in a better or worse light, is really 
productive towards bringing any kind of closure to this. Indeed, I think 
that such exchanges only result in heated arguments and the polarizing 
of feelings. Too much of that has already happened. The ball is really 
in Daniel's court. It is up to him to respond or not. Or perhaps for 
David Green and/or Terry Hobbs to respond. 
So, what to do in the mean time? I suggest that it is time for everyone 
to just cool it. Let's just make a new commitment to harmonious and 
productive discussions about Theosophy, and allow the situation to run 
its course without interference. That course may or may not mean that we 
will hear from Caldwell, Green or Hobbs.  That is not for us to decide. 
Yes, this is a great list.  What makes it great is because it is a forum 
where contributors from all Theosophical traditions are invited to 
participate on an equal bases.  That ideal is worth protecting, in my 
opinion.
