better life from the viewpoint of health.




No they don't.
 
In and of itself, vegetarianism has no benefits.  The reason that a  lot of 
vegetarians live a long life is because they work at doing it.  But  if you 
look at the parts of the world where vegetarianism is dominant, the life  spans 
tended to be shorter.
 
Access to good medical care is worth far more than diet.
 
And of course the meat eaters that live the longest are probably the ones  
who avoid vegetarians because their damnable preaching drives our blood pressure 
 up and then we have to take up cannibalism because vegetables are not  food. 
 Vegetables are what food eats.
 
So we have to eat the vegetarians and some of them require a lot of  
marinading.
 
It can be most annoying.
