As far as I know

Co-adunate (1. United at the base, as contiguous lobes of a leaf.) but not

Consubstantial (1. Of the same kind or nature; having the same substance or essence; coessential.)
   
  So I guess it means united at the zero point but not made up of the same substance, e.g. the same but different matter from the lowest to the highest. Please correct me if I am wrong.
