Ken,

CROSBIE - TINGLEY HISTORY - Yes, Daniel thank you
for posting these historical documents and Frank
for your comments. They are real and true and should
be out in the open. Repressing them is unhealthy. The ULT
'history', even the 'edited' later 'Theosophical
Movement 1875-1950' has much significant inaccurate
information. Quite some years ago when I was
studying all the TS historical info, I read
through this book and began to mark up the chapters
relating to Point Loma, Tingley, Crosbie etc. with
corrections.....THERE WERE SO MANY I DIDN'T FINISH !
it was laughable.... I asked my father what he thought:
he smiled and said "well, that's what they
BELIEVE....though it didn't happen that way..."
Iverson Harris had earlier attempted to present some
historical facts re Crosbie/Tingley/Point Loma to
ULT but I don't believe he received any answer.

I just want at this point to give some links
so that interested readers can follow up on the subject
matter above.

First of all, the book THEOSOPHICAL MOVEMENT 1875-1950

can be purchased at:

http://www.theosophysandiego.org/Books/otherbooks.htm

An online version is at either:

http://www.phx-ult-lodge.org/theosophica%20lmovement.htm

or

http://www.phx-ult-lodge.org/theosophica lmovement.htm

The 1925 edition of the above work is available at:

http://blavatskyarchives.com/garrtc.htm

I also published on the web a good deal of material that will
help the interested student to correct some of the one-sided
views of Judge-Tingley-Crosbie given in the 2 editions of the
THEOSOPHICAL MOVEMENT. See the 3 links cited below:

(1)William Q. Judge and Katherine A. Tingley: An Analysis of the
Controversy Surrounding W.Q. Judge's Diary Entries about "Promise"
and the Dead H.P.B. including Material on the Close Relationship
between Mr. Judge and Mrs. Tingley by H.N. Stokes
http://blavatskyarchives.com/stokeswqjktcon.htm

(2) Some Testimony Concerning Mr. Judge's Close Relationship with
Mrs. Tingley
http://blavatskyarchives.com/stokestestimonywqjkt.htm

(3)Robert Crosbie on Katherine Tingley
http://blavatskyarchives.com/stokescrosbie.htm

Hope this helps.
